Duke Analysis

It was a special day in Cameron as the Blue Devils secured a hard fought 71-62 win over Georgia Tech and Coach K registered a remarkable 700th win at Duke. He becomes only the 8th coach in NCAA history to win that many at one institution. And the best part for all of us – he was totally surprised and caught him off guard – which made the ceremony on the court and after the game in the locker room even sweeter. He certainly deserved and earned a “moment” – and I think he got one yesterday.

Note From the Nut:

Phenomenal first half. Clearly Duke was aggressor and took charge with great full court pressure. McClure played really well and Paulus has become a leader and key guy. Team is not the same when he is not at point..

Was surprised took full court pressure off in second half and let Georgia Tech become aggressor with their full court pressure. They had an easier time setting up their offense in second half and almost got back to even game.
